Thankfulness

on January 16, 2006

I’ve added another new link to my list, which the Christians among you might be interested in: http://lovetoworship.blogspot.com/

It’s got various thoughts and bits from Bible studies or devotional reading. Most recently from Tommy Tenney. I read something today about thankfulness and how finding things to thank God for (but not in a Pollyanna-esque way) can help you not to become cynical and bitter. And as I am pretty cynical and occasionally bitter I thought it was probably something I should do.

So, I’m starting today:
I’m thankful that baby is currently asleep, and actually slept for 7 hours straight the night before last (that’s a first).
I’m thankful for finding the above-mentioned website to encourage and challenge me.
I’m thankful for my friends at yoongz, whose experience with babies and general wisdom is a great help and example to me.

And now I have to go and finish a translation before Froglet wakes up.
